Reading has been the fuel of my motivation, it has changed the direction in which I have traveled, and it has enhanced my creative imagination more than any other activity I have ever pursued.
Science may set limits to knowledge, but should not set limits to imagination.
Imagination rules the world.
I have to believe in a world outside my own mind. I have to believe that my actions still have meaning, even if I can’t remember them. I have to believe that when my eyes are closed, the world’s still there. Do I believe the world’s still there? Is it still out there?… Yeah. We all need mirrors to remind ourselves who we are. I’m no different.

Everything you can imagine is real.
People who’ve had happy childhoods are wonderful, but they’re bland… An unhappy childhood compels you to use your imagination to create a world in which you can be happy. Use your old grief. That’s the gift you’re given.
The world is but a canvas to the imagination.
I never learned as much in the classroom as I did staring out a window and imagining things.
I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.
Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air—explode softly—and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air. Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas. And we wouldn’t go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight. Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in. And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination.
Perhaps imagination is only intelligence having fun.
