Living apart and at peace with myself, I came to realize more vividly the meaning of the doctrine of acceptance. To refrain from giving advice, to refrain from meddling in the affairs of others, to refrain, even though the motives be the highest, from tampering with another’s way of life - so simple, yet so difficult for an active spirit. Hands off!
A very wise woman once told me - you just go on. I’ve never encountered any good advice that didn’t boil down to that, in the end.

Let go of your yesterdays… in a moment everything can change…
Be happy. Talk happiness. Happiness calls out responsive gladness in others. There is enough sadness in the world without yours… never doubt the excellence and permanence of what is yet to be. Join the great company of those who make the barren places of life fruitful with kindness. Your success and happiness lie in you… the great enduring realities are love and service… resolve to keep happy and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties.
Live as though Christ died yesterday, rose from the grave today, and is coming back tomorrow.

Remember to always say what you mean. If you love someone tell them. Don’t be afraid to express yourself. Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you. Because when you decide that it is the right time, it might be too late. Seize the day. Never have regrets.
Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes.
Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot. Who calls you back when you hang up on him. Who’ll lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep… Wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you’re in sweats. Who holds your hand in front of his friends. Who thinks you’re just as pretty without makeup. One who’s constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have you… The one who turns to his friends and says ‘That’s her.’
Don’t ever let anyone make you feel like you don’t deserve what you want.
Take Chances. Tell the truth. Date someone totally wrong for you. Say no. Spend all your cash. Fall in love. Get to know someone random. Be random. Say I love you. Sing out loud. Laugh at stupid jokes. Cry. Apologize. Tell someone how much they mean to you. Tell a jerk what you think. Laugh ‘till your stomach hurts and your eyes water. Live life. and most of all…have no regrets.
Now I’d like you to step forward over here. They’re not that different from you, are they? Same haircuts. Full of hormones, just like you. Invincible, just like you feel. The world is their oyster. They believe they’re destined for great things, just like many of you, their eyes are full of hope, just like you. Did they wait until it was too late to make from their lives even one iota of what they were capable? Because, you see gentlemen, these boys are now fetilizing daffodils. But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you. Go on, lean in. Listen, you heart it? —Carpe— hear it? —Carpe, carpe diem, seize the day boys, make your lives extraordinary.

We all fall down, so pick yourself up from the dirt… cause after all, you’d think it’d be the fall… but it’s the getting up that hurts.
There are somet hings I know for certain: always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant lavender for luck, and fall in love whenever you can.
Tell him yes. Even if you are dying of fear, even if you are sorry later, but whatever you do, you will be sorry allt he rest of your life if you say no.
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they’ve faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are not as fat as you imagine.
